Kalinchowk Trek

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, relax or explore the lively streets of Thamel. In the evening, there will be a trek briefing to prepare you for the journey ahead.

Embark on a scenic 4-hour drive from Kathmandu to Charikot, the gateway to your trek. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills, terraced fields, and local settlements. Upon reaching Charikot, you’ll spend the night in this quiet town.

Today’s trek takes about 6 hours and gradually ascends through dense forests filled with rhododendron trees. Keep an eye out for Nepal's national bird, the Danphe, as you make your way toward Kuri Village. This charming settlement offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Overnight stay in Kuri Village.

Rise early for an exciting 5-6 hour round trip hike to Kalinchowk Temple, perched at an altitude of 3,700 meters. The journey rewards you with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and the surrounding landscape. After spending time at the temple, return to Charikot for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, retrace your drive back to Kathmandu, where you’ll arrive in approximately 4 hours. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax or do some last-minute shopping in the capital.
