Welcome to Nepal! Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the lively Thamel area. After check-in and a bit of rest, we’ll gather for a detailed trek briefing and make sure you’re fully prepped for your adventure ahead. Enjoy the evening exploring the local food scene or visiting a nearby stupa.
After breakfast, a quick flight takes us to the scenic city of Pokhara. From there, a short drive brings us to Nayapul—the starting point of our trek. The trail winds through terraced fields, across small streams, and into the lush foothills of the Annapurna region. As you ascend, Ghandruk greets you with stone-paved alleys, traditional Gurung houses, and incredible mountain vistas. Overnight in a cozy teahouse.
Leaving behind the peaceful village of Ghandruk, we climb gently through rhododendron forests and cross small mountain settlements. The trail offers constant views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare, often seen rising dramatically above the ridgelines. By afternoon, we arrive in Pothana, a quiet hilltop village with panoramic Himalayan views. Enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars.
Today’s trail descends steadily through forest and open fields as we make our way to Phedi. Along the way, you’ll pass charming villages and glimpses of rural life in the mountains. At Phedi, our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Pokhara. Once in the city, enjoy some downtime near Phewa Lake or explore the buzzing lakeside cafés and shops.
After breakfast, we set off on a scenic road journey back to the capital. The drive offers one last chance to soak in the countryside landscapes and river valleys. Arriving in Kathmandu by late afternoon, you’ll have time for souvenir shopping or a farewell dinner.
Depending on your departure schedule, we’ll arrange a transfer to the airport. Until next time—thank you for trekking with us and experiencing the magic of Ghandruk and the Annapurna foothills. Namaste!
