Overview

An Upper Mustang Jeep tour is a great option for those who want to explore the Kingdom of Mustang but prefer not to trek. This remote area can be difficult to access by foot, but a Jeep tour provides a comfortable and convenient way to explore the region. The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, where you will spend a night before continuing on to Jomsom the following day. From Jomsom, the Jeep tour will take you on a bumpy ride through the windswept terrain of Upper Mustang, passing through traditional Tibetan villages, ancient monasteries, and unique rock formations.
You'll have the opportunity to visit the walled city of Lo Manthang, the former capital of the Kingdom of Mustang, and explore its narrow alleys and traditional architecture. You'll also visit the surrounding villages and witness the daily life and culture of the local people, who have preserved their ancient Tibetan customs and traditions. The Jeep tour offers stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range, including Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, as well as the arid and rugged landscape of Upper Mustang. You can expect to stay in comfortable lodges or guesthouses along the way and enjoy traditional Nepali meals.
