After checking in, you can take some time to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore some of Kathmandu's vibrant streets, bustling markets, and historical sites. In the evening, you'll have a welcome dinner where you can meet your trekking guide and fellow trekkers, and discuss the upcoming adventure.

Early in the morning, you'll catch a scenic flight to Pokhara, Nepal's second-largest city, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and serene lakes. Upon arrival, you'll transfer to your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore Pokhara. You can take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside promenade, visit the International Mountain Museum, or simply relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.

After breakfast, you'll embark on a picturesque drive from Pokhara to Darbang, the starting point of your trek. From Darbang, you'll begin your trek to Dharapani, passing through charming villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. Dharapani offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and serves as an ideal stop for your first night on the trail.

Today's trek takes you deeper into the rugged landscapes of the Dhaulagiri region as you make your way to Muri. You'll traverse through dense forests of rhododendron, oak, and pine, with occasional glimpses of snow-capped peaks in the distance. Muri is a small village nestled amidst terraced fields and offers a peaceful setting for your overnight stay.

Leaving Muri behind, you'll continue your trek towards Boghara, following a trail that winds through quaint villages and lush vegetation. Along the way, you'll encounter cascading waterfalls, suspension bridges, and panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. Boghara is a remote village with basic guesthouses, providing a unique insight into the traditional way of life in the Himalayas.

Today's trek is relatively short but challenging as you ascend towards Dobang. The trail gradually gains altitude, passing through dense forests and rocky terrain. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as Himalayan tahr, musk deer, and various bird species. Dobang is a small settlement located amidst rhododendron and bamboo forests, offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.

Ascending further into the Himalayas, you'll trek to Sallagari, a high-altitude campsite with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The trail meanders through alpine meadows, crossing streams and rocky moraines along the way. As you gain altitude, you may begin to feel the effects of the thinning air, so it's important to pace yourself and stay hydrated. Sallagari provides a serene setting for acclimatization and preparation for the challenges ahead.

Continuing your ascent, you'll trek to the Italian Base Camp, named after the Italian expedition teams that have explored this region. The trail passes through rugged terrain and moraines, with stunning views of Dhaulagiri and its neighboring peaks. Upon reaching the Italian Base Camp, you'll be rewarded with panoramic vistas of snow-capped mountains towering above the vast glacier below.

Today is reserved for acclimatization and rest to help your body adjust to the high altitude. You can take short walks around the Italian Base Camp, practice breathing exercises, or simply relax and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains. It's important to listen to your body and avoid overexertion during this acclimatization day to ensure a safe and enjoyable trekking experience.

Leaving the Italian Base Camp behind, you'll trek to Glacier Camp, located amidst the stunning landscapes of the Dhaulagiri Glacier. The trail traverses across the glacier moraine, offering spectacular views of ice formations and towering peaks. Glacier Camp provides a unique opportunity to experience the raw beauty of the Himalayas and is an essential stop on your journey towards Dhaulagiri Base Camp.

Today's trek takes you to the ultimate destination of your adventure - Dhaulagiri Base Camp. As you ascend higher into the Himalayas, you'll be surrounded by towering peaks and vast glaciers, creating a truly awe-inspiring atmosphere. Dhaulagiri Base Camp offers unparalleled views of the world's seventh-highest mountain and serves as a base for mountaineers attempting to summit this majestic peak.

Another day of acclimatization and rest is essential to prepare your body for the challenges ahead. You can spend the day exploring the surroundings of Dhaulagiri Base Camp, taking in the majestic views, and interacting with fellow trekkers and climbers. Use this time to recharge your energy and mentally prepare for the upcoming crossing of the French Pass.

Today marks one of the most challenging and exhilarating days of the trek as you cross the formidable French Pass. The ascent to the pass is steep and demanding, requiring careful footing and steady determination. Once you reach the summit, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the vast expanse of the Hidden Valley below. After descending from the pass, you'll trek to Hidden Valley, a remote and desolate landscape surrounded by towering mountains.

Today serves as a contingency day in case of any unforeseen circumstances or to allow for further exploration of the Hidden Valley. Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous and acclimatized, you may opt for an optional ascent of Dhampus Peak, offering unparalleled views of the Dhaulagiri range and beyond. This optional climb requires technical skills and previous mountaineering experience but promises an unforgettable adventure for those up to the challenge.

After breakfast, you'll cross the Dhampus Pass, another high mountain pass on the circuit. Descending from the pass, you'll trek to Yak Kharka, a picturesque grazing area surrounded by mountains.

Today's trek takes you to Marpha, a charming village famous for its apple orchards and traditional whitewashed houses. You'll have the opportunity to explore the village and taste some delicious apple products.

After breakfast, you'll drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax and unwind after the challenging trek. Spend the evening strolling along the lakeside or indulging in some shopping and dining experiences.

In the morning, you'll catch a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure, reflecting on your trekking experience.

Today is a free day for you to explore Kathmandu at your own pace. You can visit some of the city's iconic landmarks, such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, or Patan Durbar Square.
