Trip Itinerary

Your Ice Lake Trekking adventure begins with a departure from Kathmandu, and a scenic drive to Besisahar. From there, you'll continue your journey to Bhulbhule, which marks the starting point of your Annapurna Circuit adventure. The altitude will gradually change from Kathmandu (1,310m) to Besisahar (760m) and finally to Bhulbhule (840m), with an estimated travel time of approximately 8-9 hours.


On this day, the trekking portion officially starts as you walk from Bhulbhule to Jagat. Along the way, you'll be treated to picturesque landscapes and the opportunity to experience the rural life of Nepal. The altitude will rise from Bhulbhule (840m) to Jagat (1,300m), and the trekking hours will be about 6-7 hours.

Continue your trek, making your way from Jagat to Dharapani. This leg of the journey takes you through charming villages where you'll witness the local culture and lifestyle. The altitude increases from Jagat (1,300m) to Dharapani (1,860m), and the trekking hours remain at approximately 6-7 hours.


Trek from Dharapani to Chame, the headquarters of the Manang District. As you go, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Annapurna region. You'll be ascending in altitude, from Dharapani (1,860m) to Chame (2,670m), with a trekking time of about 5-6 hours.


Your journey continues from Chame to Lower Pisang. You'll notice a transition in the landscape from lush forests to a drier terrain. Altitude changes from Chame (2,670m) to Lower Pisang (3,150m), with approximately 5-6 hours of trekking.


Trek from Lower Pisang to Manang, a picturesque village in the Annapurna region. Along the way, take in views of Annapurna II and III. The altitude rises from Lower Pisang (3,150m) to Manang (3,540m), and you'll be trekking for about 5-6 hours.


Take a well-deserved rest day in Manang to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Explore the village, visit monasteries, and immerse yourself in the local culture.


Resume your trek as you head from Manang to Yak Kharka. This leg of the journey offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. Altitude increases from Manang (3,540m) to Yak Kharka (4,018m), and trekking hours are approximately 3-4 hours.


Trek from Yak Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp, the starting point for your Tilicho Lake adventure. The altitude changes from Yak Kharka (4,018m) to Tilicho Base Camp (4,140m), with about 5-6 hours of trekking.


Early in the morning, embark on a challenging hike to Tilicho Lake (4,919m), one of the highest lakes in the world. Enjoy the breathtaking views and serene beauty of the lake before returning to Tilicho Base Camp.


Descend from Tilicho Base Camp and return to Yak Kharka, where the altitude decreases from Tilicho Base Camp (4,140m) to Yak Kharka (4,018m) with 5-6 hours of trekking.


Continue your journey by trekking from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi, the base camp for the challenging Thorong-La Pass crossing. Prepare yourself mentally and physically for the pass crossing, with an altitude change from Yak Kharka (4,018m) to Thorong Phedi (4,450m) and approximately 3-4 hours of trekking.

Start early to cross Thorong-La Pass, the highest point of the trek at 5,416 meters. After conquering the pass, descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site known for its religious significance.


Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom, descending to Kagbeni before continuing towards Jomsom. Along the way, enjoy the unique landscape and cultural experiences.

In the morning, head to Jomsom Airport and take a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Savor breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to your accommodation and rest in this picturesque lakeside city.
