The Poon Hill Trek is one of Nepal’s most beloved short trekking routes, perfect for families, beginners, and those seeking a rewarding Himalayan experience in a short timeframe. Within just 6 days, this trek takes you through vibrant villages, lush forests, and up to one of the most iconic viewpoints in Nepal – Poon Hill (3,210m) – offering panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Starting with a scenic flight to Pokhara and a short drive to Hile, the journey begins with a gentle ascent through terraced hillsides and rhododendron forests, reaching picturesque villages like Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk.

Trip Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Thamel. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, there will be a briefing about your upcoming trek and final preparation for the adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, you'll take a scenic 25-minute flight to Pokhara, enjoying breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon landing, you'll drive for about 2.5 hours to reach Hile, the starting point of the trek. From here, begin your 3 to 4-hour hike through lush landscapes and local villages until you reach the charming village of Ulleri.
