Highlights

Overview

The SanjenHimal Range is part of the Ganesh Himals located about 70kms north – northwest of Kathmandu.     The highest peak in the range is Yangra (Ganesh I), 7,422 m (24,350 ft). There are three other peaks over 7000 meters plus some fourteen others over 6000 meters.  This mountain range enjoys great vertical relief over nearby valleys yet for the serious hiker can still be a challenge.   The true beauty of this area though is that you won’t be hiking with dozens of other tourists which means your chances of spotting wildlife dramatically increase.
This memorable journey starts by bus by taking you from Kathmandu to SyabruBensil. It takes about 7-8hrs as it passes through beautifully gifted nature, local villages bustling with life, and mountain roads that you will agree need to be widened.  The SanjenHimal Trek itinerary is designed to fulfill the dreams of those trekkers wishing to see culture, local traditions, wildlife, flora, fauna, and amazing mountains up close as well as many beautiful Tamang Villages, beautiful view points, glacier lakes and grasslands.   Only those who are mentally and physically prepared and have camping experience should sign up for this 12 day Trek. Our specially designed itinerary will acclimatize your body and mind as we take you safely up to high altitudes.
