Your journey to the Lower Manaslu Eco Trail begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to the peaceful village of Deurali. The road passes through beautiful hills, rivers, terraced fields and traditional villages, offering wonderful views of rural Nepal. Upon arrival, check into your local homestay and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and Sulikot Danda. Take a short walk around the village and nearby farms before enjoying a traditional Nepali dinner with warm local hospitality.

Trekking Duration: 4–5 Hours
After breakfast, begin your trek through the beautiful countryside of the Gorkha region. The trail passes through the traditional villages of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality, where you can experience local culture and rural life. Along the way, visit the natural Tama Khani (Copper Mine) and Sita Ghufa (Sita Cave) before continuing to Thulo Thotneri. Surrounded by peaceful hills and forests, this is a perfect place to relax. In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural program presented by the local community before spending the night at a comfortable homestay.
Trekking Duration: 5–6 Hours
Today’s trek gradually climbs through forests, open grasslands and scenic ridges to Dharche High Camp. Along the way, enjoy magnificent mountain scenery and the peaceful Himalayan environment. After reaching the high camp, your trekking crew will set up the tent camp. Relax in the fresh mountain air and spend the evening under a sky filled with countless stars.
Trekking Duration: 4–5 Hours
Wake up early for a short walk to Dharche Hill Viewpoint to enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan mountains. After breakfast, descend through the forests of Gumsipakha to Mamche, where you will stop for lunch while enjoying the surrounding mountain views. From Mamche, continue by local jeep to the historic Gurung village of Barpak. Spend the evening exploring its traditional stone houses, meeting friendly local people and learning about the rich culture and heritage of one of Nepal’s most beautiful mountain villages.
Driving Duration: 8–9 Hours
After breakfast, leave Barpak and enjoy a scenic drive back to Kathmandu through the beautiful hills and valleys of Gorkha and Dhading. Along the way, enjoy the final views of Nepal’s peaceful countryside before arriving in the capital.
