Surrounded by towering cliffs and hanging glaciers, the lake offers a peaceful and surreal experience. After soaking in the beauty, you’ll retrace your steps back to Sikles and then drive back to Pokhara for a relaxing evening. The trek concludes with a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Nepal's natural beauty.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our team will be there to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the bustling heart of Thamel. After settling in, you’ll have time to rest or take a stroll through the vibrant streets. In the evening, we’ll hold a detailed trek briefing to get you ready for the adventure ahead.


Day 2 : Flight to Pokhara (800m/2,624ft) and Drive to Sikles (1,980m/6,496ft)

After breakfast, we’ll board a short, scenic flight to Pokhara, offering aerial views of lush hills and the snow-capped Himalayas. Upon landing, a private vehicle will take us on a beautiful drive to Sikles—an ancient Gurung settlement surrounded by terraced fields and hills. The route climbs steadily, with occasional glimpses of Lamjung Himal teasing what’s to come. Overnight in Sikles.


Day 3 : Trek from Sikles to Hugu (2,100m/6,889ft)

Today’s trail begins from the charming village of Sikles and winds through lush forests and rhododendron groves. You’ll pass cascading waterfalls, wooden bridges, and might even spot Himalayan wildlife along the way. The trail is peaceful and less-traveled, leading to the remote hamlet of Hugu, perched in a serene valley. Overnight in a local teahouse.


Day 4 : Trek to Kapuche Lake (2,546m/8,353ft) and Return to Sikles, Drive to Pokhara

An early morning start takes us through pristine alpine landscapes toward the glacial basin of Kapuche Lake. As you ascend, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic—towering cliffs and hanging glaciers dominate the backdrop. Kapuche Lake, nestled at the foot of snow-covered peaks, offers a surreal and peaceful moment. After taking in the views and snapping plenty of photos, we retrace our steps back to Sikles, then drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.


Day 5 : Drive Back to Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft)

Following a relaxed morning, we begin the journey back to Kathmandu by private vehicle. The drive, lasting 6 to 7 hours, follows the scenic Prithvi Highway, winding alongside rivers, terraced hillsides, and local villages. Once in the capital, enjoy your final evening with a warm meal or souvenir shopping in Thamel.


Day 6 : Final Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a relaxed breakfast or a final stroll around town. Our team will transfer you to the airport with plenty of time before your departure. We hope to see you again for another Himalayan adventure!
