Overview

Unlike other longer treks in Nepal, this is one of the shortest and easiest treks through the rustic foothills of the Annapurna Massif. The journey begins from the peaceful lakeside city of Pokhara and takes you through ancient villages, offering an intimate glimpse into traditional Gurung culture and daily life. With its gentle trails and short duration, this 6-day trek is ideal for families, children, and elderly travelers looking to enjoy the Himalayas without strenuous climbs or long travel days.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,592ft)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel in the vibrant neighborhood of Thamel. After check-in, you'll have time to relax, followed by a short briefing session and preparation for the trek.

Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 2 : Fly to Pokhara – Drive to Bijayapur Khola – Trek to Kalikasthan (1,370m / 4,494ft)

Enjoy a short and scenic 25-minute morning flight to Pokhara, Nepal’s adventure hub. Upon arrival, you'll drive for around 1 hour to Bijayapur Khola, the starting point of your trek. From here, begin a pleasant 5 to 6-hour trek through rice fields, forests, and hillside villages to reach Kalikasthan, a quiet hilltop settlement.

Day 3 : Trek from Kalikasthan to Syaklung (1,730m / 5,675ft)

Today’s trail leads you through lovely rhododendron forests and peaceful local villages. As you walk along the ridge, you'll be treated to views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges. The 5 to 6-hour trek ends in Syaklung, a traditional Gurung village rich in culture and hospitality.

Day 4 : Trek from Syaklung to Chisapani (1,550m / 5,085ft)

Today’s trail features a combination of downhill and uphill sections as you pass through ethnic communities and lush forests. Along the way, you'll encounter beautiful landscapes, terraced farms, and views of the surrounding hills. The 5 to 6-hour trek concludes at Chisapani, offering excellent sunset views over the mountains.

Day 5 : Trek from Chisapani to Pokhara – Fly to Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,592ft)

After breakfast, you'll trek for about 3 to 4 hours downhill through small villages and cultivated lands until you reach the road where a vehicle will transfer you to Pokhara. Later in the afternoon, you’ll fly back to Kathmandu, completing your journey through the Annapurna foothills.

Day 6 : Final Departure

Your journey in Nepal comes to an end today. Our team will escort you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. We hope you leave with wonderful memories of the Annapurna foothills and Nepal’s warm hospitality.
