Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll have time to rest and acclimatize to the bustling atmosphere of Kathmandu. In the evening, join your guide for a trip briefing where you’ll receive all the details about your trek ahead.
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic 1-hour drive to Sundarijal, located just outside Kathmandu. From here, the trek begins as you follow a well-established trail through lush forests, crossing small villages along the way. After 3 to 4 hours of hiking, you will reach Chisapani, a picturesque hilltop village offering beautiful views of the Himalayas. Enjoy a peaceful evening with a traditional Nepali meal and a cozy overnight stay.
After breakfast, start your trek through a beautiful rhododendron forest. The trail ascends gradually through small villages, offering glimpses of local life. You’ll continue through oak and pine forests, passing by terraced fields before reaching Kutumsang, a village that offers magnificent views of the Langtang range. This challenging yet rewarding day will take approximately 7 to 8 hours of trekking. Overnight stay in Kutumsang.
Today’s trek takes you through stunning mountain landscapes. The trail climbs steeply, passing through a variety of forests and offering panoramic views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and other peaks. A key highlight of the day is reaching the Tharepati Viewpoint, where you’ll be rewarded with awe-inspiring views of the snow-capped peaks. After soaking in the beauty, descend to Melamchi Gaun, a traditional Tibetan-influenced village, where you’ll experience the rich cultural heritage of the region. This day involves 7 to 8 hours of trekking.
On this day, you’ll trek for 2 to 3 hours towards Thimpu, a scenic village where you can enjoy the last views of the surrounding mountains. Afterward, you’ll drive down to Melamchi Bazaar, where you’ll enjoy the rural vibe of the area. From Melamchi, you’ll embark on a 4-hour drive back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and unwind after your trekking adventure.
