Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,320 m) and transfer to the hotel.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take some time to rest and refresh after your journey, perhaps exploring the nearby area if you have the energy.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing: World Heritage Sites (1,350m/4,429ft).

Today, you'll embark on a guided tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural and religious heritage of the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 3 : Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150m/492ft).

After breakfast, catch a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, a bustling town in the western Terai region of Nepal. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 4 : Fly from Nepalgunj to Jumla (2,540m/8,334ft).

Today, board a scenic flight from Nepalgunj to Jumla, the starting point of your trek to Rara Lake. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas as you fly over remote mountain landscapes. Upon arrival in Jumla, meet your trekking crew and prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 5 : Trek from Jumla to Chere Chaur (3,055m/10,023ft) - 4-5 hrs.

Begin your trek by following the trail through terraced fields and picturesque villages. As you ascend, you'll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Arrive at Chere Chaur and settle into your campsite for the night.

Day 6 : Chere Chaur to Chalachaur (2,980m/9,777ft) - 5-6 hrs.

Today's trek takes you through lush forests and alpine meadows as you make your way to Chalachaur. Along the way, you'll encounter local villagers going about their daily lives and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the remote Himalayan landscape.

Day 7 : Chalachaur to Sinja Valley (2,490m/8,170ft) - 5-6 hrs.

Descend into the beautiful Sinja Valley, a historic region dotted with ancient ruins and traditional villages. Explore the archaeological sites and learn about the rich cultural heritage of the area before settling in for the night.

Day 8 : Sinja to Ghorosingha (3,050m/10,007ft) - 5-6 hrs.

Continue your trek through the enchanting landscape of the Sinja Valley, passing through dense forests and charming hamlets. As you gain altitude, you'll notice the change in vegetation and scenery. Arrive at Ghorosingha and rest for the night.

Day 9 : Ghorosingha to Rara Lake (3,010m/9,876ft) - 5 hrs.

Today, embark on the final leg of your journey to Rara Lake, the largest lake in Nepal. Trek through pristine forests and alpine meadows, soaking in the tranquility of the remote wilderness. Upon reaching Rara Lake, be rewarded with breathtaking views of the turquoise waters surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

Day 10 : Explore Rara Lake (3,010m/9,876ft).

Take a day to explore the natural beauty of Rara Lake and its surroundings. You can hike along the lakeshore, relax by the water, or simply soak in the serenity of this remote Himalayan paradise. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as musk deer, Himalayan thar, and various bird species.

Day 11 : Rara Lake to Pina (2,440m/8,006ft) - 5-6 hrs.

Bid farewell to Rara Lake and begin your descent back to civilization. Trek through forests and meadows, enjoying the last glimpses of the pristine wilderness. Arrive at Pina and set up camp for the night.

Day 12 : Pina to Bumra (2,850m/9,351ft) - 5-6 hrs.

Continue your descent through lush forests and terraced fields, passing by quaint villages and friendly locals. As you near Bumra, take in the views of the surrounding mountains and valleys before settling in for the night.

Day 13 : Trek Ends: Bumra to Jumla (2,540m/8,334ft) - 6 hrs.

Today marks the end of your trek as you make your way back to Jumla. Follow the trail through beautiful landscapes, reminiscing about the adventures and experiences of the past days. Upon reaching Jumla, celebrate the completion of your trek with your fellow trekkers.

Day 14 : Fly to Nepalgunj, Fly to Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft).

Catch a flight from Jumla to Nepalgunj, then transfer to another flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest. Reflect on the memories made during your trek to Rara Lake.

Day 15 : Departure from Kathmandu.

After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey. Bid farewell to Nepal with cherished memories of your adventure in the Himalayas.
